As a youngster I spent my days following creeks and roaming the farmlands and beaches that stretched from Marion to Old Reynella in the south of Adelaide. I often found the skulls and bones of sheep, rabbits and other small animals – I took great delights in these skeletal remains and was intrigued at their varied shapes. Teenage years bought with it organised sport and an obsession with movement as well as – the inevitable injuries. While other modalities helped, it wasn’t until my father took me to an Osteopath that things really changed for me. At the time, even while still in my early teens, I realized that this experience would change and formulate the rest of my life. The early admiration for nature, anatomy and movement fueled a lifelong fascination with the human body & the ultimate question HOW DO THINGS HEAL? It took an arts degree and a stint living overseas before I summoned enough courage to dedicate myself to Osteopathy. The rewards have been enormous! I have been fortunate to be practising since 1999 and continue to enjoy working with a wonderful range of people, from the newborn to adults.
